Weeks 1-2
Focus: Understanding the Test & Building Vocabulary
- Thoroughly read the official IELTS guide to understand all question types.
- Daily: Learn 10 new words from the Academic Word List and use them in sentences.
- Complete one Listening and one Reading section (not a full test) every other day.
- Focus on understanding instructions and time management.
- Weekends: Review all vocabulary from the week and read an English newspaper or magazine for 1 hour.
Weeks 3-4
Focus: Deep Dive into Writing
- Focus on Writing Task 1: Learn how to describe charts, graphs, and letters.
- Write two Task 1s and one Task 2 per week. Get feedback from the AI Writing Checker.
- Focus on Writing Task 2: Master essay structures (opinion, discussion, problem-solution).
- Study grammar for cohesion: linking words, pronouns, and conjunctions.
- Weekends: Write a full, timed Writing test (Task 1 & 2).
Weeks 5-6
Focus: Developing Speaking Skills
- Practice answering Part 1 questions on common topics (home, work, hobbies).
- Use the Speaking Timer to master the 1-minute prep / 2-minute talk for Part 2.
- Use the AI Speaking Practice tool twice a week to get feedback and model answers.
- Learn topic-specific vocabulary for common Part 3 themes (environment, technology, education).
- Weekends: Engage in a 30-minute English conversation or debate.
Weeks 7-8
Focus: Mock Tests and Final Review
- Take one full, timed mock test at the start of each week.
- Use the results to identify your weakest areas and dedicate 2-3 days to improving them.
- Review all notes, especially grammar and vocabulary that you found difficult.
- Do light practice: one section of a test each day.
- The day before the test, review only your notes for 1 hour, then relax.
- You are well-prepared. Be confident!
