Develop your skills for the 60-minute reading test. You will read three passages and answer 40 questions.
Skimming and Scanning
Don't read every word. Skim the text to get a general idea of the content. Then, scan for specific keywords from the questions to locate the relevant information quickly.
Understand Question Types
Familiarize yourself with all question types, such as multiple choice, matching headings, True/False/Not Given, and summary completion. Each requires a different strategy.
Manage Your Time
You have 60 minutes for 3 passages and 40 questions. Allocate about 20 minutes per passage. Don't spend too much time on one difficult question.
Focus on the Text
Answer questions based only on the information given in the passage. Do not use your own prior knowledge of the topic to answer the questions.
