Speaking: Part 1 Questions

Part 1 is a warm-up. The examiner will ask you about familiar topics. Aim to give answers that are 2-3 sentences long.

Pro Tip: Extend Your Answers

Avoid simple 'yes' or 'no' answers. After answering directly, add a reason, an example, or a feeling. For example, to "Do you like cooking?", instead of "Yes, I do", try "Yes, I really enjoy cooking, especially on weekends. I find it a very relaxing way to be creative after a busy week."
