Rather than pursuing conventional corporate banking purely for monetary gain, my definitive career aspiration is to work as an Environmental, Social, and Governance—or ESG—sustainability consultant for multinational enterprises. I envision working within an environmental advisory practice within the next three to four years.

In essence, the role involves auditing corporate supply chains, assessing carbon footprints, and formulating actionable strategies to help legacy corporations transition away from extractive, polluting practices toward circular economy models. On any given day, an ESG consultant might be conducting lifecycle emissions assessments for a manufacturing plant, drafting regulatory disclosures compliant with international climate treaties, or advising executive boards on clean energy capital investments.

To succeed in this arena, one requires a multifaceted skill set: advanced quantitative literacy in environmental economics, an understanding of international corporate law, and exceptional diplomatic persuasion to convince skeptical shareholders that decarbonization enhances long-term profitability. What draws me so powerfully to this profession is its moral resonance. It allows me to bridge commercial strategy with urgent planetary stewardship, applying market mechanisms to solve the defining existential crisis of our era.
